VANDANA KUMAR is a multifaceted artist and educator from New Delhi, India. Her work spans poetry, translation, film production, and education. In addition to her teaching career, Vandana works as a French translator for reputable companies and publishers, a recruitment consultant, and an indie film producer.
Her debut poetry collection, Mannequin of Our Times, has received critical acclaim, winning multiple awards. In 2023, Kumar was honored with a Pushcart Prize nomination, and she served as Guest of Honour at the 2024 Global Vision Summit in Athens, Greece.
Notably, Vandana was highlighted by Indie Blu(e) Publishing (USA) as part of their influential poet series online. She also contributed to the short story anthology Cocoon Stories: Imprints of Childhood.
Beyond poetry, Vandana is an active voice in the realm of world cinema, writing for Just-Cinema, Daily Eye, The Free Press Journal, Boloji.com, and The Artamour. Her expertise has also seen her serve as a jury member for the All-India Poetry Competition organized by Cocoa-Butter, where she co-edited the competition’s debut print anthology.
