YANA BATSMAN is an artist from Kyiv, Ukraine, who began to work on artistic endeavors as a child. Yet, instead of studying art at the university, she received a master’s degree in economics and cybernetics. In 2016, however, she returned to art and became a self-taught artist. Her work draws from nature, music, and her internal world, as she aims to bring humanity closer, she says because technology has created an aporia deeply rooted in the self. ​​​​​​​
