CHRISTINA CHANIOTOU was born in Athens, Greece. She has studied in the faculty of Philology at UoA. She is a self-taught photographer, editorial writer, and theater reviewer. Her main interest is to explore how photography reflects human nature. Seven years ago, she created the Dreama Project, a house of artistic existence. She specializes in portrait photography and shoots only on black and white film.
Dreama Project is about Time and Motion. It’s a conversation between the past and the present. It exists as a constant journey back and forth that surpasses the banal and transcends the classic. Its final destination is Achronia (greek; Αχρονία <α+χρόνος; the absence of time) and Atopia (greek; Ατοπία <α+τόπος; the absence of space). An additional goal for Dreama Project is to reveal our unique strength. This distinctive depiction is linked with a direct projection of the true Self to encourage humans and empower their Spirit.
