ALENA SOLOMONOVA is a Russia-born photographer currently living and working in Slovenia. With a background in economics and psychology, her work approaches identity as a fragmented and continuously reconstructed process. She combines digital photography with physical interventions and layered materials, including glass, pigments, and organic elements. Her practice examines perception, memory, and the instability of the self through quiet, introspective images shaped by philosophical questions of presence and deconstruction. She is currently studying photography at VIST in Ljubljana.
