LISA DELORIA WEINBLATT is a figurative painter whose work explores the intersections of culture, identity, and human connection. Her notable series, SCHOOL LUNCH, is a poignant visual essay on contemporary U.S. student life, informed by on-site observations and personal interactions in high schools and colleges. The series, praised for its emotional depth and cultural relevance, has been showcased in solo exhibitions across the United States, including the GoggleWorks Art Center in Pennsylvania and the Central Piedmont College in North Carolina.

A graduate of the School of Visual Arts (M.F.A., 1991) and Queens College (B.A., 1987), Weinblatt has received numerous residencies, including at the Vermont Studio Center and the Hambidge Center, as well as grants from the NEA/NYSCA and NYC Public Arts.
