ÉMILIE MÖRI is a French-Swiss photographer based in Paris who focuses mainly on surrealist photography.

Émilie grew up in a family of printers, allowing her to work with silkscreen printing; this experience helped shaping her artistically in terms of image composition and expression. She draws her ideas on paper and then translates them into photographic art. Her work may be considered minimalist, and it could be said that they stand as metaphors for emotions, intentions, and other aspects of the self. This minimalism leaves spaces that can be interpreted as silences, inviting the audience to fill them by immersing themselves in this universe.

Most of Émilie’s subjects are women, focusing on feminine ataraxia, dreams, and timelessness, and her clean and colorful compositions frame movement through a frozen stance, adding grace and femininity.

Émilie Möri graduated from Les Gobelins Paris, and in addition to her artistic endeavors, she works in collaboration with advertising agencies, publishing houses, major brands, and magazines.
