JANA LULOVSKA is a multidisciplinary artist who works primarily in photography, painting, printmaking, and installation. Jana is also active in experimental film, video art, animation, and design. She graduated from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts “Krastyo Sarafov”, in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Jana's artistic journey has been marked by cultural exploration and intellectual discourse, with projects that aim to inspire positive change and challenge preconceived notions. She uses art as a platform for stimulation, education, and therapy, inviting viewers to contemplate their place in a diverse world. In essence, her work is a testament to her belief in the transformative power of art, inspiring consciousness, healing, empathy, and understanding. Through her work, she focuses on the following topics: the human condition, feminism, nature and ecology, time, and movement.
Lulovska presented solo and group exhibitions in North Macedonia, the USA, France, Greece, Belgium, Italy, Croatia, and other locations. She has participated in several international residencies, art and film workshops, and her films have been selected on numerous film festivals. Jana’s artworks are in collections in North Macedonia, Italy, and Bulgaria.
Jana Lulovska is a member of The Association of Artists of North Macedonia. She lives and works in Skopje, North Macedonia.
