GARETH LEE holds an MFA in Literary Arts from Brown University, where he studied under Robert Creeley, who served as his thesis advisor. Born in Hong Kong and raised in Southeast Asia, Lee currently lives in New York. After a nearly two-decade hiatus, he has returned to writing poetry. His recent work explores the reclamation of cultural heritage, elemental experience, and the intersections of his Anglo-American literary influences and Sino-diasporic identity. His poetry has appeared in The Canary, Columbia Poetry Review, Denver Quarterly, DIAGRAM, First Intensity, GutCult, Kenyon Review Online, Northwest Review, and elsewhere.
“Two Travel Records”, on Asymptote Journal, is being released concurrently with his new poems here, on The Pasticheur.
