In Jueon Im’s paintings, garments, gloves, and shoes record the influence of fashion and advertising upon the self we learn to present. In Kristina Tamulevičiūtė’s poems, bodies, houses, and inherited objects carry the marks of war, hunger, and memory across generations.

Skin, fabric, image, wall: each becomes a place where private life meets the world. How much of the self belongs to us, and how much has already been written upon it?
