SVEN PFROMMER is a painter, photographer, and printmaker based in Berlin. His work has been exhibited in Germany, the United Kingdom, Austria, Spain, Singapore, Taiwan, Canada, Colombia, the United States, Australia, Italy, and many other countries around the globe.
Sven’s approach to art is interdisciplinary in nature and, literally, blurs the lines between reality and fiction, forcing the observer to see shapes and humanity from a different point of view, as if the viewer were observing the universe through a veil that has been modified by different elements. Unlike typical photographic compositions, Sven’s focal point in many of his works (his “Rainy Day” series, for instance) is beyond what appears as sharp and defined.
Sven never finishes a project but rather adds to the multiple ideas throughout years of observation. To give an example, his series “Human Blur” consists of work created from his scrutiny of humanity throughout a period of over twenty years.
Additionally, Sven is an interior artist who transforms living and working spaces into living and evolving environments, working with acrylic, resin, aluminum, copper, wood, canvas, lambda, dibond, and other materials.
