Curator’s Note

Artitaya’s Where Do We Go From Here? arrives at a moment when the illusion of separation—between species, classes, nations—can no longer be sustained. Her work does not posture as prophecy, but as pilgrimage: an attempt to map the scattered ruins of progress, one image at a time.

The video doesn’t seek closure. Instead, it lingers in the mess of things: in the breathless juxtaposition of a child laborer and a powdered cosmetic, a virus and a steel beam, a prayer and a machine. What emerges is not a solution, but a sobering sense of scale, and a reminder that while the crisis may be global, so too must be our imagination.
