Editor’s Note
In Constellations of Her, Nina Žnideršič traces the many languages of femininity through light, gesture, and silence. Each portrait becomes a world unto itself, radiant yet interior, poised between the mythic and the contemporary. What we see are not likenesses but states of being: the quiet strength of a gaze, the authority of stillness, the shimmer of self-possession that refuses definition.
Žnideršič’s portraits unfold like celestial maps, each face a star, each expression a fragment of an unspoken story. Together they form a vast terrain of womanhood that stretches beyond borders and time. Beauty here is neither surface nor ornament. It is an act of presence, an awareness of one’s own luminosity.
In this series, the photographer honors the complexity of the feminine as both idea and experience. The result is a constellation of selves, each complete and yet part of a greater whole, each one turning quietly toward the light.
