The Fragments series, which consists mostly of monochrome images, maps the topic of losing a loved one, human anonymity, and intimacy. These images were created mainly as embodiments of feelings reflecting the loss of a loved one, an event that steered me towards photography as a profession. Also, discovering one's identity was an intertwining element of the series; therefore, many of the images arose in the form of self-portraits.
